28th International Scientific Conference

Strategic Management and Decision Support Systems in Strategic Management
SM 2023

The 28th International Scientific Conference Strategic Management and Decision Support Systems in Strategic Management has the aim of promoting and developing high quality research of all aspects of strategic management, especially decision support systems in strategic management. The Conference is a forum for researchers and practitioners to interact, collaborate and develop the field of strategic management. The topic of this year’s Conference is “Current geopolitical turbulences: Economic challenges and implications”.
Problems within financial markets and uncertainty of recovery of global economy are consequences of Russian-Ukrainian conflict, but also of other geopolitical turbulences. Slow recovery from the pandemic has been additionally delayed by high prices, shortage of food and energy, as well as constant risk of high inflation. These are great challenges for researchers and practitioners in the field of economics, management, business informatics and public management, all in effort to preserve positions of manufacturers and service providers, but also to find paths to overcome the crisis and to advance business and market economy of countries. Economic, political and social challenges are currently the greatest for European countries. At the moment, foreseeing future events and political implications is quite difficult. This provides the opportunity for researchers to contemplate strategically in order to find new, or modify existing business models for multiple scenarios in terms of sustaining economic stability of countries.
